Barcelona is thinking about how to access the player to the club and the Camp
Nou Stadium. The first step of the
player at the Camp Nou stadium will be by an open invitation to the masses.
Getting
a suitable date is not easy especially during the preparation of the
Confederations Cup that Brazil is doing for the next week. Barcelona is looking
to find a solution to satisfy all parties, so the date may be on Monday or
Tuesday, 3-4 June. On Sunday, June 2 Brazil will play a friendly match against
England on stadium Almarakana in Brazil. The plan is introducing him after the
game and after his expected arrival to Barcelona in the morning of June 3 or in
the next day. After that he will return to Brazil in order to resume his
training with the team and participate in the friendly meeting in the Brazilian
city of Porto Alegre against France.
Till
now, neither the club nor the player himself asked the Brazilian football union
to allow the player to go to Barcelona, but when the Brazil Coach Felipe
Scolari and Coordinator Carlos Alberto Parreira were in Barcelona, Russell met
them and discussed this idea.
